Our Story
SC Walcon Ltd. was founded by Seamus Walsh, drawing on decades of hands-on experience in civil engineering and groundworks across Ireland. What began as a sole trader operation has grown into a trusted, family-run company with a skilled team of 12 and a modern plant fleet capable of tackling projects of all scales.
Based in Ardee, County Louth, we operate nationwide — from large infrastructure schemes to smaller residential and commercial groundworks. Our reputation has been built project by project, through consistent delivery, honest pricing, and a genuine commitment to doing the job right.
Today, SC Walcon is led by Seamus and his son Conor, combining decades of industry knowledge with fresh energy and a forward-looking approach to civil engineering in Ireland.

Conor Walsh
Operations Director
Conor joined the family business and has quickly become central to its day-to-day operations. He manages project coordination, client relationships, and the company's growing plant fleet.
